Deal with Archdiocese of PhiladelphiaPhiladelphia Business Journal Reports Don Guanella Property Under Agreement of Sale with Carlino Commercial Development

Natalie Kostelni of the Philadelphia Business Journal reported in a story on Dec. 5, 2017 that Carlino Commercial Development is now under agreement to acquire 213 acres off Sproul Road, known as the Don Guanella property, in Marple, Pa. Carlino Commercial Development plans to develop 40 acres and leave the remaining 173 acres as protected forest.

President of Carlino Commercial Development Confirms Deal with Archdiocese of Philadelphia to Delco Daily Times

President of Carlino Commercial Development Peter Miller confirmed a deal with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia to buy the Don Guanella property to the Daily Times’ Kathleen E. Carey.

Miller said, “We’re local developers. We’re aware of the site and we think it’s an opportunity to redevelop the former Don Guanella section of the property, because it’s blighted. We want to redevelop that portion, plus some extra acreage, and preserve parts of the property.”
